Building Capability
On an ongoing basis, we invest in the development of our people. This
ranges from specific technical training in job-specific subjects and
the use of our business systems, to participation in industry
conferences and the support of post secondary education. We recognize
that not all learning happens in a classroom. As much as possible, we
help employees grow through involvement in projects and jobs that

Enhancing Supervisory Skills
We continue to focus on developing our front-line supervisors. Their
abilities are being enhanced by a combination of classroom training,
online reference material and readily available coaching. Our efforts
include an emphasis on the role of supervision in maintaining a safe
working environment.
Employee Stress Management
Stress is the sum of the pressures generated in every part of our life.
GlobalHostStaff works with employees to help them identify sources of
stress, and signs that might indicate stress have reached critical
levels. Our Employee Assistance Program and Human Resources department
offer workshops and individual counseling to help employees control,
reduce and cope with stress.
